Account Settings

Step 1: Accessing Account Settings

  • Click your profile icon in the top right
  • Select "Profile Settings" or "Account Settings"
  • Or navigate to /profile/profile-settings
  • You'll see your account settings page

Step 2: Personal Information

  • Profile Picture:
  • Click "Upload" button
  • Select image file
  • Recommended size: 256x256px
  • Formats: PNG, JPEG
  • Max size: 2MB
  • Full Name:
  • Enter your full name
  • This is required
  • Used across the platform
  • Email Address:
  • Your email is displayed
  • Email cannot be changed
  • Used for login and notifications

Step 3: Contact Details

  • Phone Number:
  • Enter your phone number
  • Select country code
  • Used for account verification
  • Country:
  • Select your country from dropdown
  • Used for regional settings

Step 4: Preferences

  • Timezone:
  • Select your timezone
  • Used for dates and times
  • Search if needed
  • Language:
  • Select preferred language
  • Options: English, Arabic
  • Changes interface language

Step 5: Saving Account Settings

  • Review all information
  • Click "Save Changes" button
  • Wait for confirmation message
  • Settings are updated immediately

Step 6: Changing Password

  • Go to Password Settings:
  • Click "Password" tab
  • Or navigate to /profile/profile-settings/password
  • Enter Current Password:
  • Type your current password
  • Required to verify identity
  • Enter New Password:
  • Type your new password
  • Must be at least 8 characters
  • Use strong password
  • Confirm New Password:
  • Type new password again
  • Must match new password
  • Update Password:
  • Click "Update Password" button
  • Wait for confirmation
  • Password is changed

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Account Settings

  • Problem: Cannot change email

Roles & Permissions

  • Problem: Cannot delete role
  • Solution: Role is assigned to users
  • Reassign users first
  • Then delete role

  • Solution: Check role is assigned correctly
  • Verify permissions are set
  • Refresh page

Notification Settings

  • Problem: Not receiving emails
  • Solution: Check notification is enabled
  • Verify email address is correct
  • Check spam folder

Security Settings

  • Problem: Legitimate users blocked
  • Solution: Check blocked countries/IPs
  • Remove unnecessary blocks
  • Review security settings

API Keys & Integrations

  • Problem: API key not working
  • Solution: Verify API key is activated
  • Check permissions are correct
  • Verify API secret is correct
  • Problem: Webhook not receiving data
  • Solution: Test webhook with "Send Dummy"
  • Verify URL is correct
  • Check server is accessible
  • Verify event type is correct
