Managing Pages & Content

Step 1: Accessing Pages Management

  • Go to Content → Pages (or similar navigation)
  • Or navigate to the pages management section
  • You'll see a list of all pages

Step 2: Viewing Pages List

  • Pages are displayed in a table
  • Each page shows:
  • Page title
  • Slug/URL
  • Visibility status
  • Published date
  • Actions (Edit/Delete)
  • Use filters to find specific pages
  • Search by title or content

Step 3: Creating New Page

  • Click "Add Page" or "Create Page" button
  • Page creation form opens
  • Enter Page Title:
  • Type page title
  • Use descriptive title
  • Example: "About Us", "Privacy Policy"
  • Enter Slug (Optional):
  • URL-friendly version of title
  • Auto-generated from title if not provided
  • Example: "about-us", "privacy-policy"
  • Must be unique
  • Add Content:
  • Use content editor
  • Format text (bold, italic, etc.)
  • Add headings and paragraphs
  • Insert links and images
  • Use HTML if needed

Step 4: Setting Page Visibility

  • Choose visibility:
  • Visible: Page is live and accessible
  • Hidden: Page is saved but not published
  • Default is "Hidden"
  • Change to "Visible" to publish

Step 5: Setting Publish Date

  • Select publish date (optional)
  • Page publishes on this date
  • Leave empty to publish immediately
  • Use for scheduled publishing

Step 6: Choosing Template

  • Select page template (optional)
  • Default template is "default"
  • Templates control page layout
  • Choose template that fits your needs

Step 7: Saving Page

  • Review all information
  • Check content formatting
  • Click "Save" or "Create Page"
  • Page is saved
  • Confirmation message appears

Step 8: Editing Existing Page

  • Find page in list
  • Click "Edit" button
  • Edit form opens with existing content
  • Modify:
  • Title
  • Slug
  • Content
  • Visibility
  • Publish date
  • Click "Update" to save changes

Step 9: Deleting Page

  • Find page to delete
  • Click "Delete" button
  • Confirmation appears
  • Confirm deletion
  • Page is removed

Step 10: Managing Page Content

  • Use content editor features:
  • Text formatting
  • Lists (bulleted/numbered)
  • Links
  • Images
  • Headings
  • Preview content before publishing
  • Test page after publishing

  • Problem: Content not saving
